Current Conditions

The Current Conditions map displays:
  • Current Air Temperature (degrees F)
  • Dew Point Temperature (degrees F)
  • Rainfall Since Midnight (inches)
  • Winds (mph)-- The Wind Barb is an "arrow" that depicts the wind speed and direction. The "feathers" of the arrow indicate the wind speed while the dot end of the arrow indicates the direction the wind is blowing toward.
  • Wind Gust (mph)-- Wind gusts are plotted only if they exceed the wind speed by more than 5 mph.
This map is updated every 5 minutes.

6-hr Fire Weather Conditions Archive

This product shows a 6-hour archive of inversion and fire weather conditions maps at 15-minute intervals. The Fire Weather Conditions map displays:
  • Air Temperature (degrees F)
  • Relative Humidity (%)
  • Winds (mph)-- The Wind Barb is an "arrow" that depicts the wind speed and direction. The "feathers" of the arrow indicate the wind speed while the dot end of the arrow indicates the direction the wind is blowing toward.
  • Wind Gust (mph)-- Wind gusts are plotted only if they exceed the wind speed by more than 5 mph.
The Inversion Conditions map displays:
  • Air Temperature at 30 ft (degrees F)
  • Air Temperature at 5 ft (degrees F)
  • Air Temperature difference (30 ft - 5 ft in degrees F)
  • Dew Point Temperature (degrees F)
  • Winds (mph)-- The Wind Barb is an "arrow" that depicts the wind speed and direction. The "feathers" of the arrow indicate the wind speed while the dot end of the arrow indicates the direction the wind is blowing toward.
