James G. LaDue

Jim LaDue earned his B.S. degree in Meteorology from the State University at New York - Oswego. In 1990, he completed a M.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.

LaDue is interested in severe local storms, lake effect snow, marine meteorology, and mountain meteorology.

"I train meteorologists on how to use radar and satellite data so that they may produce more accurate forecasts and severe weather warnings. I also develop new techniques for combining satellite and radar data."

Jim's hobbies include canoeing, skiing, hiking, storm chasing, and photography.
