Brad Illston completed his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Meteorology in May of 2000, Masters of Science (M.S.) in December 2002, and Doctorate (Ph.D.) in December 2016 from the University Oklahoma. 

Brad Illston works as a Senior Research Scientist at the Oklahoma Climatological Survey.  His daily activities vary from day to day depending upon the current research topic being investigated. Typically, he is analyzing research datasets, developing computer programs, and writing scientific papers for publishing. Recently, he has performed research activities on soil moisture, drought conditions, urban meteorology, climatological analysis, and road weather instrumentation.

Brad Illston enjoys watching and following ice hockey, exploring nature through geocaching, and relaxing by fly fishing.
