About This Product
The Mesonet Cattle Comfort Advisor estimates cattle comfort levels based on data from the Oklahoma Mesonet and National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts. The Mesonet Cattle Comfort Advisor continuously monitors heat or cold stress on a year-round basis.
The Cattle Comfort forecast is based on the NOAA National Blend of Models (NBM). The NBM is updated four times daily (around 3 AM, 9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM CST).
